HAVE A QUESTION?Depending on if you are installing above or in-ground, you'll need to have enough room for the baptismal plus stairs (above-ground) or equipment access (in-ground). Both options require that there is around 5-6 feet of free area in-front of where you would like to install the baptismal. Additional considerations would be how you intend on performing the baptism. If you join the subject in the water or if you need room to stand beside them as you perform the prayers and complete the ritual. The baptismal is designed to be extremely easy and safe to enter and exit the water. Large textured anti-slip stairs lead down to the prayer and submersion area.
The 'Ascension' is designed to accommodate one person to be baptized and one person conducting the baptismal ceremony.
A drain located at the bottom of the baptismal is connected to a hose with a shut-off valve that can be accessed from the main equipment area located under the stairs. Simply position the drain hose and open the shut-off valve to begin draining your baptismal.
Your 'Ascension' baptismal can be installed both above ground or in-ground. If installation is in-ground, please refer to our specifications page.
Your baptismal can stay filled with water to accommodate several baptisms. The UV sterilizer unit with ozone generator will keep the water clean and clear much longer than untreated water. Please be aware that some clothing can contain chemical residues that will make the water unfavorable. Best practice is to change the water regularly. Once every 1-2 weeks.
Your baptismal will take approximately 13-16 mins to fill. (based on 50' long 5/8" supply hose at 40 psi / 22 gallons per min)
Yes, your baptismal is portable. All equipment is contained within the structure below the stairs of the tank. The only outside connection is the standard 110v power cord. You can simply unplug and move to a new location or to storage between ceremonies.
